I just grabbed Kitsuné Parisien II, the latest mixtape from Kitsuné, an über-cool Parisian fashion and record label. The mixtape is a compilation of songs by emerging electronic artists. I’m digging a bunch of the tracks, but “Tears” by We Are Knights is easily my favorite. The song is a gorgeous mix of low-fi synths - the melody sounds like it could have been ripped straight from Tycho - and dreamy vocals. “Tears” is the first official release from the Parisian trio; let’s hope there is much more to come from the group.
