A few weeks ago, I tweeted that if I heard one more remix of Goyte’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” – which, admittedly, is a pretty damn great break-up song – I would totally lose it. Well, now I’m eating my words. I stumbled upon this song last Friday and proceeded to play it all weekend long. Scott Melker, a DJ from NYC who refers to his sound as “popped and screwed” (a play on a style of hip hop known as “chopped and screwed”), remixes the infamous Gotye song with Biggie Smalls’ “Dead Wrong” to surprisingly addictive results.
